Hair when straightened looks very beautiful. Here are some points, which should be kept in mind in order to ensure effective, straightening of hair.
- Before you straighten your hair, make sure you have a hair wash.
- Once you wash your hair, apply some conditioner to your hair.
- In case of frizzy hair, apply some anti frizz cream.
- Always check out the heat level of the irons before using them to flatten your hair. You can test the heat level by first trying out the irons on a wet piece of paper.
- Never use the irons on wet hair; you may end up burning and scorching up your hair.
- Brush your hair properly before using the irons; get rid of any unsightly knots, which may come in the way while straightening the hair.
- While blow-drying your hair, use a brush to comb the hair, this way the hair gets straighter.
- Blow-dry your hair in the direction of the hair growth. This way the hair looks shinier and also the cuticles are closed.
- Once you have blow-dried your hair with heat, blow dry it with cold air. This way any knots in the hair are smoothened and the hair looks clean and shiny.
- Once you are done with all the above procedures, take few strands of hair and place them between the irons.
- Continue till you finish off with the rest of your hair. Once the straightening is finished, flaunt of that long and lovely straight hair.
